I feel the community is largely poisonous.
It’s honestly appearing this way to me and it feels like this site is doomed to fail in a series of byzantine flails for social capital on a website that’s only popular to a certain niche of person.
We’re arguing about pronouns now and the website itself is named after a podcast that most users deem not even that progressive, despite the identity being linked entirely to it in brand name.
I feel like tribal conservatives read this site and just laugh. Nobody here knows how to be taken seriously or go about anything despite having the only non-harmful political views, which in itself is a large victory but not the victory.
