I’ve been on a manga reading spree recently, having completed good manga like Helck (2014; Nanao Nanaki), Thermae Romae (2008; Yamazaki Mari) [and its IMO better ongoing spinoff Olympia Kyklos] or Boku dake ga Inai Machi (2012; Sanbe Kei)

Does anyone have some recommendations for something that’s…

  1. Plot-driven (Romance is fine, as long as it’s not one of those stories that moves at a snail’s pace)

  2. At worst mildly horny

  3. Doesn’t have awful politics

  4. Isn’t half the length of One Piece

and of course

  1. good?

if you’re not vegan and like cooking Dungeon Meshi is kind of fun, it’s basically a Dungeons and Dragons setting but there’s no magic bag of refrigeration so if you can’t carry enough food or lose it you’re fucked but the main characters meet a dwarf who teaches them how to cook and eat all the dungeon monsters

for some reason Trigger is going to be doing the anime adaptation and I’m so excited for it

Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.
