If this is what’s popular, no wonder dating is screwed up these days. Imagine being anything other than a plain dude and having to worry if you’re being fetishised by some pervert.
I don’t think this list means literally everybody that’s on pornhub is hyperfocused on weird fetishes.
Considering how diverse this list is I don’t really think it means much unless you assume sex cultures differ wildly between US states, I think most people just put in the search bar what they’re in the mood for that day, it doesn’t mean it’s literally the only thing they can get off to.
i would imagine there are a lot of people without a specific fetish or interest that just click around. like, are there really an appreciable amount of people going to a major porn site, ignoring the front page entirely, and typing “sex” in the search? it’s not like google where there’s just a search bar with these sites. most of every page is clickable “popular/mainstream” content.
so this type of analysis ignores that (probably most common) type of user and focuses only on people who are searching for something specific, which is probably going to be something weirdly specific.
