Yes if they were fertilized. Really it’s more like Plan B, the fertilization was stopped when the egg was refrigerated, long before the fetus could start developing. But of course life obviously begins at conception so.

Commercial eggs are unlikely to be fertilized though. I don’t really see what good it would be for the company to have a rooster around. But I’ve seen someone hatch a grocery story quail egg so idk.

Chicken eggs are sterile.

There is a Chinese delicacy which is fertilized eggs with half-grown chicks inside them. The diners crack them open and dip them in a spicy sauce and eat them in a single bite.
