nah, the difference is funkos are ugly. i like giant robots, but gunpla really isn’t somehow more noble a consumerist hobby.

yeah it’s model building, i’m not saying there’s not craft and creativity and real joy there, but at the end of the day it is buying plastic to put on your shelf
