The people I know with kids have had “strange completely unidentifiable respiratory diseases” that definitely aren’t COVID basically once a month.

Just to clarify in case my tone wasn’t clear, but they have absolutely had COVID (or other diseases due to COVID-based immune damage) from their kids’ school but just claim it’s not. They don’t get tested because they think “COVID is over”.
