I was really fucked on tramadol before I accepted communism as my lord and savior, and I remember a few days where my mind was so open my brain was falling out and I was open to flat earth theory and also read something fascist that was sort of convincing about how western civilization can’t let itself be destroyed or something. I don’t know, it was an embarrassing moment looking back, I quickly realized it was racist shit but not before I discussed it with one of my friends. They were also doing a lot of drugs though and never brought it up so I got a free “considering being a fascist” pass on that one… I’m not impervious to really well written propaganda I guess. Actually I’m really easily manipulated.
Don’t even joke about such a thing, there is no excuse for being a fascist ever!
Plenty of people think, say, and do things out of ignorance or petty malice that they regret later. Especially if they’ve grown up around bad influences.
Falling into the trap of seeing fascism as a personal choice rather than a sociological reaction to external stresses dooms you to swearing at water droplets over a change in the tides.
