Just a reminder to never ever ever ever fucking touch a wild bird if you do not absolutely have to. Just don’t do it.

I know it sucks, but even if the bird looks sick, even if the bird looks hurt, just leave it alone.

What about wild marsupials like squirrels

Edit: serious question because I’m planning on capturing the injured squirrels I see to take them to wildlife rehab and some of them look like they have neurological disorders

Rehab site doesn’t mention much about disease or PPE for capturing lol

Leave them be unless they are directly interfering with you. Nature will take care of it and this likely means they’ll die. Sorry that it sucks but that’s the way it is sometimes :(

I’ve seen a squirrel with paralyzed back legs survive for months or longer in the wild.
