Seriously ruining an already expensive hobby. Then you have the simps for the company in their YouTube comments section defending the prices and poor shaming people who call out the scam.

Sometimes original hardware is better. Some consoles have weird controllers that are hard to emulate. Cartridges, manuals and boxes have nice art too.
Emulation is great, but it still sucks that people are priced out of a choice.
