im a dr pepper fan myself and was expecting it to be at least okay. we even cooked it with a few lemon slices as tradition dictates. without carbonation (and maybe some of the flavors were boiled off) it legit made me gag

You can make a pretty good glaze with Dr. Pepper for various things, but yeah, Hot Dr. Pepper is just chugging warm syrup
