We are going to see 2020 election again. The republican primary is over.
Or just all vote on the same day like the general and every other country?
Two issues:
- The electoral college is a thing. Getting 70% of the vote in California doesn’t mean you are electable in Pennsylvania.
- A national election would basically be won by the candidate with the most money. Smaller initial elections allow lesser known candidates a chance.
