I’m old enough to remember when “Wake Up, Sheeple!” was a thing conservatives said without a hint of irony.
When I worked at a grocery store in the south there was a regular 50 year guy who always came in wearing a “LION, NOT SHEEP” hoodie in large bold text. This was right at the time most people stopped wearing masks, and he kept questioning why I was still wearing one. I didn’t try to argue with him, but he kept saying stuff like “look kid, they’re brainwashing you, you don’t need that damn thing”
I get people telling me a mask is going to suffocate me or other nonsense quakery. Kinda wish I would get the brainwashing one so I could reply with “oh the government said you don’t need to mask and you believed them?”. I know nothing will get through to such a person but it would be funny at least.
