Bipolar I won’t make you into a Nazi but the manic episodes are much more extreme than the hypo-manic episodes people with Bipolar II tend to get, and for some reason that often gets lost in the discourse. It doesn’t excuse him at all, but I do want to make it clear that these sort of delusions - as in grand conspiracies, not Nazi shit - are common during manic episodes.

I think in this case the simplest explanation is the correct one: Kanye stopped taking his meds and spent too much time on 4chan. Since most celebrities are emotionally stunted adults, it’s no surprise that many of them fall into the same cultural demographic as teenage boys.

I mean, I’ve heard descriptions of Bipolar episodes leading to psychosis, and I dont see why nazi conspiracy shit would be less believable for someone to start believing under psychosis than shit like aliens or space nazis beaming into their brain and draining their precious fluids.

But thats all for a medical professional to deal with, any speculation that goes beyond “its a possibility that needs to be investigated” is kind of a soft apologism. It could equally be the case that he believes nazi shit the regular way too and whatever mental health problems he has going on just removed the self-awareness and control that is necessary to not just yell “I LOVE HITLER” out loud on a broadcast interview.

I have bipolar type 2, it doesn’t make you a hateful loser. He’s just an ass who is making us look bad by blaming it on his illness.

There is a theory that once you get that rich and have it all, the wealthy sometimes just likes to start shit because they are extremely bored.

Of course it’s probably because they’re pieces of shit, but I wouldn’t put it past them.
