This is probably actually better and maybe even a decent idea for rooftops where growing trees or a food garden isn’t always feasible.

Ive Seen this in Special Windows that get filled with algae water. buildings can use the Heat generated by the algae, manage the water cycle, and harvest Biomass from it. PV performs better in CO2 saved Afaik and generated more energy, so i doubt therell ever be much demand For this.
