Bold prediction: over the next 5 years we’re gonna see video games, movies, and shows about “resistance fighters” fighting the CPC. Like, CIA Jim goes undercover with the Uighyurs to bomb a CPC installation or something. They’ll definitely emphasize attacking the CPC specifically and not “the Chinese government” in general. Most probably won’t directly say Xinjiang or the Uighyurs, but it will be pretty obvious to everyone.
there’s a popular multiplayer only version of call of duty in china i think, they may resist a little bit more. Remember though that Battlefield already did war with china like 4 times now
I mean maybe but in doing so the game will probably either be banned in China or it wont sell very well and the publishers reputation there will be damaged, which is not something game publishers want to do in such a huge market.
