It’s not that unique; many cybersecurity experts regularly have to reverse engineer the binaries of various malware, and it’s just as fucked up and uses much of the same tricks as DRM.
It’s just that you need the right combination of the skillset, the motivation to crack it, and the time to do it. Empress has all three.
