That’s not what anyone was saying; we’re saying that a video about whether or not to vote in the us election is by nature only about US citizens. it’s completely irrelevant to anyone else and they obviously have to consider other options than voting in the us presidential election. like what the fuck are you people even trying to say here?
We are trying to say, if you are an Internationalist and not a Social Fascist, US policy has a massive and dominant international effect, and US citizens should consider that their electoral decisions have broader effects on the international working class.
Biden’s Foreign Policy is horrible, and while his domestic policies are better for you you must acknowledge that you are making a trade off here. If you’re going to throw fellow socialists under the bus because they live 30 cm over the border at least be clear about the material reasons why.
It’s not just about US Citizens just because you’re the only ones with a vote. You’re the aristocracy of the world, what you say dictates where the bombs go and where people starve, and we can’t do a damn thing about it. If we try, even as close allies, you coup our governments or collapse our economy.
I’m not saying don’t vote for Biden, I’m saying actually consider for five damn seconds that it isn’t just about you.
You really think Trump’s foreign policy and regard for life abroad is better than Biden’s? That’s insane; yes Biden is also a very bad imperialist but Trump has done more drone strikes than the entire Obama administration and nobody seems to believe that on the left because he’s too busy controlling the media narrative by being insane in a different way every two days. Trump has done absolutely insane foreign policy things that were essentially TRYING to start a war with Iran except they didn’t take the bait. He’s literally rubber stamping every dude they want to kill without even the little bit of restraint that Obama would make a big show of. Like, the decisions we have to make are whether we vote for Howie Hawkins, Biden, or not vote at all and we all know that none of these are going to do something materially good for anyone, it’s about what gives us the best political positioning to push the Dems left.
