Any tips? I know rest lots and lots, and get paxlovid right? Anything else?

You’ve already had your vaccines, chances are you’ll have a mild case. Get lots of rest, eat, and drink. Keep an eye on your symptoms though, if they do start getting worse don’t wait to see a doctor.

I’d encourage you not to take medications you don’t need. If you’re set on having Paxlovid, you can keep it handy in case your symptoms get worse. Have an emergency contact in case you need someone to come and help you on short notice. Also if you have any breathing issues that require medication, stay well stocked.

Post recovery, once you feel up for it do a couple of substantial workouts. Don’t go all out, but I absolutely didn’t feel 100% until I had a few workouts afterwards.

Please do not spread misinformation. Paxlovid only works if you start taking it within the first 5 days of symptoms starting, it’s not something you can wait to take. It blows my mind that people would turn down Paxlovid because they’d rather raw-dog COVID.

I have a friend who got COVID after being fully vaxxed and boosted. They turned down Paxlovid by their sibling’s advice (because “It’s just like a cold, bro”), got long COVID, and they’ve been living with with it for about a year now (they told me just today that their brain fog has not gone away or lessened). Needless to say, this would not have happened to them if they had taken Paxlovid.
