There are slavs who seem to think that Stalin’s greatest crime was stopping the Nazis from exterminating all the Slavs. Taunting them that they would have supported their own extermination to spite the Soviets is a never ending source of joy.

They would be much happier being able to treat the Nazis’ genocidal expansion the same way they treat the American frontier that inspired it.
