The speech essentially amounts to “You’re all experiencing poverty because you too much from the capitalists and they went on strike. Promise never to tax the rich or regulate industry ever again and we might deign to come back and bless you with jobs. Anyway, enjoy your famine.” And then everyone clapped.
There’s a pirate who goes around razing factories that have been seized by the workers or state because he can’t bear the thought and this is painted as a good guy righting injustice.
Rand’s Mary Stu is the scion of a wealthy family who wastes his family fortune and the capital of the USA, Mexico, and as many investors as possible on intentionally bad investments while pretending to fuck as many women as possible to keep the government from realizing he’s secretly a super-capitalist genius and saving himself for Rand’s self-insert.
