Shouldn’t removing Jesus from his torture device be a good thing? I could never understand the logic behind worshipping the thing that killed and subjected their god to pain.

Christianity is build around guilt and penance. So of course the main christian religious figure would be in helluva of suffering too.

Specially when one of the main teachings is the suffering of the main figure is our fault.
