Some of us would rather not get defed entirely within the first week, and we’re asking for a little bit (not full) of restraint from our comrades. Please don’t do things that “make the decision for the group”.

no. one instance that we were going to fed with pre-emptively defederated a week before we even came online, but the others have mostly not defederated yet. But we will probably wear out our welcome if we continue apace. lemmy.ml for example is pretty big and has left us alone because the admins there are comrades, but if we become enough of a headache they could defederate, they definitely care more about lemmy as a project than our ability to dunk and shitpost on their servers
