remember when itunes first came out, and people would just…make their music library available to anyone in the vicinity? so you could be sitting at your computer, open itunes and have the option of listening to Brian-on-level-five’s library as well as your own?

Yeah, it was a mixtape-from-the-future type thing and was awesome. I miss mixtapes. I really put some proper thought into a couple and gave them to some people. Once or twice I would get a text saying they liked them, asking about a certain artist etc. That was cool. I made one for my partner early on. A couple of years ago I was looking for a playlist on our YouTube and saw that she’d made a playlist of that mixtape. That was cool too.
