Reading that reminds me of when I used to be a lib. I’d hear some liberal stuff like “equality under the law” and think that was a good thing, not realizing what they meant by “equality” was very different than what I thought.

Biden says all this stuff that sounds good and makes sense until he elaborates and then you realize it’s like he lives in an alternate reality. He doesn’t mean the US wrecked south america with imperialism, he means we didn’t beat and jail enough of our citizens to remove the incentive to smuggle things into and out of the US. He doesn’t mean we should provide aid to south america to help them recover from what the US did to them, he means the US should poke around in their affairs and make sure their politics are correct for what we want. We need to “help” them.

It’s so bizzare.
