The carrots got a bit dry on the warm windy day yesterday so I’ve watered them again and pulled them inside overnight to avoid snails/slugs.

Melbcat is very happy to have her favourite bed back. She got it back same wash day and has been glued to it since

I’m doing the grub/seedling dance. Lost a few already but 95% going well.

I’ve fallen into a pattern of putting them out in the morning and pulling them in overnight, I haven’t forgotten how aggressively the slugs/snails went after my previous seedlings.

Protecting them at night seems to be working so far
