I need to take on some of these tips. Since I have my son, my 5D and lenses are so heavy to travel with or take on trips to the park that I never take them anymore. Or I’m afraid I’ll forget something. I keep my equipment safe at home unless I can plan dedicated time alone.

Yes, I definitely have to take deliberate steps to keep my full-frame camera at hand more often than not. I always take it on my daily walks with the dog, and in my daily carry bag to work. Carrying it as a habit definitely made for capturing good shots I wasn’t expecting…

I usually have my 15-35mm lens on my R5 with me. I deliberately carry it (using a shoulder strap) on my evening walk with my dog, and occasionally find interesting to photograph compositions. I also use a combination photo bag (photography bag that also carries my work laptop and gear) so if I’m driving to work and come across something striking, I can get a photo of it…
