EKHEM

Both sides bad. UwU

I won’t lie, some .world users are very based, sometimes there’s threads with 0 grad and 0 hex which oppose the Israeli apartheid, but then I open some really braindead threads and want to leave my flesh prison.

There is a similar thing happening on reddit too… r/Publicfreakout comment sections are far more empathetic to Palestine then you would expect, but then r/Worldnews is full of genocide supporters. It’s wild.

World news is almost certainly more heavily astroturfed by the west and its mods aligned with banning anyone who goes against the state dept line. Feds probably put less stock in controlling subs outside that, news, politics ones.

Yeah, no place are as heavily manipulated on reddit as /r/politics and /r/worldnews (even the latter pales compared to the former though).

I would not rule out the grad and hex users have accounts there. Not saying all based comments come from us but I’m sure there’s some overlap. Which is good. Prevents those Nazis from being able to fully alienate the users from our influence.

Possible, but I also think there are based non-hex/grad users as there are unbased hex/grad users. There’s no perfect communities and it also appears there are no utterly shitty communities. I’m tempted to block less beehaw and .world communities to see if they’re possibly more based than given credit for, since I precautionarily blocked them based on the genocidal freaks I’ve seen in news communities.

I’m sure there are plenty of decent .world users who decided to use that instance before finding out about Lemmygrad and Hexbear, and hopefully they’ll migrate once they realize that the admins there are fascists
