This one user is convinced the users here are literally below the age of highschool. I’m 25 myself and remember seeing people above the age of my parents posting, so I wonder if there’s information on the ~population across ages.
On age, almost half of us (45%) are between 25 and 34. That might be an expected result, as these forums tend to attract younger people and Lemmy especially is not super easy to get into due to the federative aspect. We do have some under 18s, 7% to be exact, as well as 1 recorded user over 64!
The next most common age group is the 18-24 slice, with 32% of our community. We are indeed quite young on Lemmygrad!
