5kg directly on the throat would be a bit much. Miss Meow was 2.3kg when I got her, she is now somewhere over the 3kg mark, which for her is getting a bit overweight.

Oh yeah it’s something. My girl is actually looking really slim though at 5kg due to the size of her frame, she’s really tall and long. Probably should weigh more.

She has to do three point turn in tight spaces and her bum hangs over the edge of a standard litterbox.

There is definitely an advantage to having a compact model of cat, all the standard sizes of things are plenty big enough for Miss Meow. Plus she can’t jump onto the kitchen benches.

I considered building a custom cat tree for Melbcat.

Unfortunately the ikea stuff I’d want for the bones is expensive and I’m leery of potentially infested hard rubbish
