The absolute vitriol thrown by both sides of the ranch debate will eventually lead to civil war in the United States all on its own. Believe me, there’s plenty of people here that find it absolutely disgusting, so no promises. Then again, Germans eat their fries with mayo, which I find very similar.

Ok, mix these ingredients into sour cream (and mayo if you like) to your preferred taste:

  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • dill
  • parsley
  • chives
  • cayenne pepper

Optional, but I like: some sort of fermented milk (buttermilk, kefir, etc.), parmesan cheese
