Why does ever game need to be some open world RPG bullshit? Why can’t you have a fixed story and a character with a fixed set of choices and beliefs? And even then, game devs will cater to you nerds with MUH CHOICES!!! You people are just upset that they nudge to you to a certain direction and that’s there’s obviously a “correct choice.” Just fucking go against it if you care so much holy shit. If you end up a shitty villain, you probably deserve it, but so what?
If you want unlimited choices go play a TTRPG
People used to pay me for grimdark murderfucking spiderman short stories. Im very glad these people exist, paying me 300 dollars for a 1000 word short story.
i want to inject your noggin with the knowledge and work required to make even a shitty jam game and watch it pop like an egg in a microwave
That’s funny because you have the choice to not play this or any other game. You also have the choice to go make your own game if you don’t like how someone else has made theirs. You have a lot of choices. You can choose if you want to look at this picture of a pig shitting on it’s balls or not. I bet you’ll look
What the fuck are you talking about you fucking dork
Are you mad that there’s a rainbow flag in the game or some shit
I personally think games should be open and give the player the ability to choose their own alignments.
You want a button to say the n word? I literally don’t know what the fuck you’re saying here, what the fuck is an “alignment”
The game is undeniably fun to play, but many games tend to have agendas behind them, even if these aren’t necessarily negative ones. In terms of Sony, the company isn’t particularly known for its moral stance, and they choose to include content based on what is popular or mainstream at any given time. If the N-word were mainstream, it’d probably be included in the game.
I think it has an agenda, even if it isn’t a terrible agenda, it is still an agenda. I won’t tell anyone how to write their own novels, but I personally think novels should be open and give the reader the ability to choose their own alignments. We have that capability and I think it would make novels better, but writers don’t wanna do that. That’s why novels are better than other types of media: choice.
you clearly have the media literacy of a brick wall, and i don’t plan to educate you on the thought-terminating disinterest of reducing video games to narrative choice. like are you fucking daft, or are you too much of STEMlord to actually understand how narrative works? in short, i don’t care about your nonsense assertions, you are like this pig shitting on its testicles
