I agree with you that American imperialism will always win out. The Democrats helped overthrow the government in my home country by funding Nazis lmao. I just think it’s an interesting scenario for the we-can-push-him-left crowd (of which I am not part of). I suppose against all logic and reason they could succeed, or (what would actually happen) is that they would see that they can’t succeed and hopefully this will cause some of them to finally abandon the idea once and for all.
