EDIT: I’ll add some substance to this comment. I don’t have encyclopedic knowledge of the Syrian civil war, but before the fall of Afrin I did follow the day-to-day events very closely. Just from a gut-reaction to the TIP I think they are comparable to the very worst of the non-ISIS islamic opposition–perhaps second only to Jund al-Aqsa when they still existed.
