Just a standard wild Friday night, reviewing my car insurance and downgrading it to third party. 🤣
I’d compare my energy company options and review my internet plan too, but I already did that rerecently. So in the interests of being as dull and adulty as possible I will have to go and do the washing up and go to bed at a sensible time.
That is such a humbling experience. A once state of the art vehicle reduced to a shitbox. Hugs.
She’s given me 18 years of good service so far (if we ignore the whole alternator incident) and will hopefully have quite a few more years. But she’s not worth a lot now, so the insurance is not worth paying the premiums for. If I can manage to not cause an accident and write the car off for about 5 years I should have saved back as much in premiums as an accident claim would give me.
Packing for my flight back to Melbs tonight! Had an excellent break with family and am now ready to come back.

Not a lot. Sunburn recovery, house cleaning ready for guests, and maybe a few drinks once done. BOTH (I tell you) BOTH my local fish & chipperies are closed over January. Should not happen to a dog.

On the couch recovering from prepping the laundry for painting and some gardening. I’m knackered!
Back home after spending the afternoon out, ate the last of my delicious red curry and watching the rest of Silo with the fan on and a nice refreshing glass of coconut water.
Oh my god Juliette is so annoying. And the dialogue/writing is soooo cliché and contrived. Typical YA bullshit. The premise/world is lovely though, the props and set are beautiful. I’ve got the ebooks now though to read after the I finish the show…
Curled awkwardly around the cat, shopping online because my new planner arrived in the wrong size and I need more socks/jocks. Debating finishing a drawing and struggling to concentrate enough to learn new skills. Watching cartoon clips. Waiting on the council to collect my missed bins.
Slowly going out of my mind with the sameness of life and about to chew plaster.
