I’ve got a magellan gps and I want to load some maps onto it. The only way to do so is with the magellan vantagepoint software. I ran the installer and there were no errors or any notable issues, but when I run the VantagePoint.exe file, it returns this error:

I’ve installed .net like the only thing I could find said, but haven’t found a further solution. Does anybody have other advice? Thank you very much in advance for the assistance.
There’s a couple of ways I could imagine debugging this.
One would be to disassemble MapEngine.MapsContainer.IsExists and see why it would throw that exception. It’s quite strange because it should act like it’s running on windows.
The other would be to enable WINEDBG stuff or possibly use strace to figure out what it did before throwing that exception.
Have you tried 32-bit wine?
