Woke is back
Went out of town this week.
Came back and there’s a fucking bullet hole in my exterior wall. One of my neighbors shot someone. My neighborhood has been rough, a couple rapid house fires and explosions, the occasional gunshot/firecracker (I can’t tell the difference when it’s in the distance, personally), plenty of what I assume are bike thieves (people that ride around with a different bike every other day carrying a second bike), one time the cops shut down the neighborhood because someone was armed and wanted. Now my house has a bullet hole in it.
