Setting up a comm is easy. Setting up a Lemmy is kinda hard.

The Dankleft userbase presumably likes (or at the least, tolerates) that sort of heavier moderation over on their meme sub. They can have that on their reserved space. Outside there, it’s all up in the air.

I understand that. It took us like what a month to set up our Lemmy? And how many users did we lose from that? So on one hand I like the comm to capture more people, on the other hand I don’t want differences in site standards to cause a rift you know? I’ll leave it to the admins I just wanted to voice a concern, and I want to prioritize user base honestly, I’m sure we can handle a few more struggle sessions
