Tracking or storing IP’s would be a major breach of personal safety for users here its not a good idea to do that.
This is true, but we have no control over what cloudfare does with connection metadata.

Yeah, in that case the most juicy thing they might get are (optional) email addresses and user PMs. Email addresses can be pretty revealing though if it is your personal email address and attached to your identity anywhere.
