Doc Ock also called his reactor an artificial sun so I guess it’s to invoke a negative emotion although it just makes it sound even cooler.

Yeah, got to make sure people don’t start thinking a clean and powerful energy generation is a good thing. Especially when the State Department designated enemy is doing better than the US at developing it
