jesus was not a real person. All of the alleged “evidence” is a hoax, forgery, or not actually evidence, and the supposed “academic consensus” around his existence is a small circle of biblical studies ghouls jerking each other off

The vast majority of history and religion scholars accept that he existed in some form. The question is how accurately the Gospels convey his life and teachings, where opinions range from “very much so” to “only marginally”.

Probably true, I don’t care either way, but I much prefer saying Jesus was a brown socialist cause there’s more evidence for than against.

Yeah even if he didn’t exist, the ability to say: but he was a brown, Jewish radical revolutionary is just too good to pass up. I minor in religious studies right now, and it’s always my fav topic of discussion to learn about.
