Yep.

“But if Biden didn’t pardon Trump, then you would have to worry about his base!”

I can hear the piss poor excuses already.

lol I guess it’s a good thing all those people will vanish in a puff of smoke once the pardon is signed

Point out specifically that these same channels were ones calling for Trump to be punished almost daily, to begin with, and that it’s “strange” that they’re defending a pardon now.

Don’t tell them exactly what to think. Just point out the media swapping their narrative.

Point out the contradiction between years of “Trump’s a fascist colluding with evil foreign countries to sabotage democracy!” and “well it’s all water under the bridge, now.”

totally. they’ll toe whatever line is asked. and the hilarious hypocrisy is you’ll see libs on r/pol mocking conservatives by saying “they’ll have their talking points in 3 days” referencing something dumb trump did.

meanwhile when i volunteered for bernie, libs would speak in verbatim to what they hear on msnbc. “m4a is ‘pie in the sky’”, “defund the police is bad messaging! we should say do reform the police!” etc. etc.

I mean some will, but there’s plenty of opportunity to agitate once that happens because a lot of people will be ready for something different at that point.
