The attempts to seize Bolivian Lithium has been more successful under Trump.
The blockade and starvation campaigns towards both Venezuela and Iran have been more successful under Trump.
US imperialism has been less successful in recent history, that is not a Trump phenomenon. The failure of Obama & Bush to establish client states in Libya, Syria, and Iraq were failures of US imperialism.
I honestly do not believe presidents have much influence on the development of US Empire. If they stared to have a negative influence, their skull would not be attached to their neck for too long.

The failure of Obama & Bush to establish client states in Libya, Syria, and Iraq were failures of US imperialism.
But they did manage to tear those countries apart in the process. The worst Trump (besides continuing what they started) has done is Bolivia, and that’s already being undone.
