Someone asked me that recently after we were going through Netflix and couldn’t find a single movie either of us interested in. My answer was Anchorman 2, but even that ended up being disappointing, and forever ago.

I think part of that is the dawn of a future dystopia. A lot of entertainment has been rendered pretty meaningless, and in times of strife, they reveal themselves to be increasingly vacuous.

On a counternote: what movies should I be checking out (any platform)?

Rise of Skywalker, based on how much I loved Last Jedi. I literally could not have been more let down by that “”“film”“”
