Is there an active blackout on reporting the Indian general strike or is the West just that self-absorbed?

Indians don’t have the capacity for a blackout. If there was a blackout there’d be a revolution, the country is so corrupt it’s the ultimate capitalist government. Only the rich can pay bribes to succeed in the economy, meanwhile the poor are left to be wage slaves. And I’m talking real wage slaves, like they’ll go hungry if they don’t get paid one day

Oh, I’ve seen plenty of reporting from Indian publications, just nothing from major western, English language sources that acknowledges the strike, besides Jacobin.

Type India Strike into google and you only get leftwing mags. Use India Protests and you’ll get CNN.
