Provel cheese, sweeter sauce, and a cracker-thin crust. It’s a delicious but very… polarizing style of pizza. The key to enjoying it is not to try and compare it to any other style of pizza. Just take a bite and let the magic take you where it wants to.

Nope, won’t fight you, because you are right. I’ve had St. Louis style at a few other mom & pop places that was pretty good but CWP is definitely superior to Imo’s.
Funny enough I had the St. Louis style at Antonio’s in San Francisco (a place that makes all the different regional pizzas) and they fucking nailed it.
Cecil Whittakers is delicious, but there exists a Talaynas that is unbeatable. Crispy perfection.

My recollection was that he was describing the Pointersaurus Rex from Pointers Pizza
