It makes me so mad/sad that this is the modern reality for relationships. At the same time my self esteem is skyrocketing because of all the likes like a casino with bright lights and big numbers but the whole thing feels cheapened. I know there’s more valid reasons to this besides the fact that idk how to text matches but I’m blanking
Again, I meet my current partner who I am very much in love with on Tinder, as well as two other people who I had very positive relationships with. I get the format is kind of shallow, but so is regular human attraction, in normal social settings people are usually motivated by base things like physical attraction and general hornyness. But if you take the time to actually talk with people and then meet them on equal footing in a real life setting, Tinder can be just as much of an avenue to real relationships as any other setting.
