Either due to the moisture or the nutrition, an avocado sliced lengthwise makes worms touch their p-words. This is in my vermicomposter with red wigglers. Next spring I’m buying a dozen or so to place around the garden as soon as the soil becomes survivable for them so that it’s primed for planting.
