people felt the same way about the proud boys then they popped & deflated. Same thing’s gonna happen with Q eventually, it’s not a bottom-up movement so once Capital finds something else worth its investment it’ll fizzle out into nothingness suddenly and nobody will quite notice when it happens

I don’t know that it isn’t a bottom up movement. I know in the chapo episode they talked about the main Q guy in LA being a semi homeless sound cloud rapper. It seems to be spreading and mutating separate from whoever was originally putting out Q content. The other things is all the “flavors” and different beloveds Q anon has can allow people to pick and choose how deep to follow the Q rabbit hole while still having some involvement with Q.

Wasn’t it tied to the guy who owns 8chan?

Yeah I think it wasn’t 100% conclusively tied to him but literally all the evidence points to him. Essentially 99% chance they guy who runs 8chan was the one who started posting Q.

I recommend this video: In Search Of A Flat Earth. I think you underestimate how self-sustaining this movement can be (obviously I hope youre right tho lol), i think Q, or at least cults like it will become more and more commonplace as peoples lives get worse and they are put under more psychological strain.
