Nah this is in Western Australia (Dublin buses do look pretty damn nice though); and yeah, I heard from one of my mates that it’s a mixed bag but worth going to especially for the guest speakers and bookstore. I think I might go to the 2021 conference, the program looks pretty solid.
Honestly I don’t have an issue with criticism per se, but it sucks when it’s just hamfisted and can’t be fairly countered without creating a dogpile.
If your friend’s the same person I’m thinking of who was told to pay copyright fees for the prints, they’re a bloody legend.
