Can we not jump to accusations of transphobia whenever someone is nervous about the new policy, please? Regardless of anyone’s opinions on it it’s a very proactive moderator move on a website with a userbase that frankly isn’t used to proactive moderator moves yet, and it’s frankly just kind of a dick move to immediately jump to transphobia accusations. When criticism or uncertainness about this policy has been met with users outright doubting other users transness (which I have personally experienced), the backlash is clearly a little too harsh.
